Md. Casino Revenue Totals Nearly $78M In March

BALTIMORE (AP) -- Maryland officials say the state's four casinos brought in nearly $78 million in revenue last month.

The Maryland Lottery and Gaming Control Agency announced Monday that Maryland Live Casino in Anne Arundel County led the group with nearly $62 million from slot machines and table games. That's a 38.5 percent increase since March 2013.

Hollywood Casino Perryville generated nearly $8 million from slots and table games, a 16.5 percent decline compared to last March. Casino at Ocean Downs generated more than $4 million from slot machines, a more than 5 percent increase from March 2013.

Rocky Gap Casino Resort, which opened in May last year in Allegany County, generated nearly $4 million from slot machines and table games.

  2. and there is still a need to steal from the teacher's pension to balance the budget? or should I say, fund O'Malley's unhealthy spending habit.
