I hate gas. There isn't enough money in the world to get me to put it in my house. Whole neighborhoods and city blocks are exploding because of antiquated gas lines. It's one area of the infrastructure that's overlooked until a tragedy happens. I know someone who made 100's of millions of dollars (starting after WW2) installing gas lines in major east coast cities. He refused to have any kind of gas in his own homes.
Gas leaks are scary. They blow up entire buildings and blocks. Remember the explosion in Harlem a month or so ago? Gas leak was the cause. Lets be happy that this gas leak was caught before something terrible happened.
Thank goodness for paid firemen!
