Freeman Stage In Selbyville Announces Summer Concerts
JUST ANNOUNCED! The Joshua M. Freeman Foundation has just released the 2014 Freeman Stage at Bayside season, and it's our most exciting yet. A diverse mix of over 50 classic and contemporary shows - live music, dance, theatre, kids shows, and 10 national recording artists - will take the Stage between Memorial Day and Labor Day - and 50% of these shows will be free for all! So who are the national recording artists? Grammy Award winner Bruce Hornsby will be here on July 2nd. American R&B legend Aaron Neville will perform on July 11th. We will bring in the big band style with Big Bad Voodoo Daddy on July 12th. 9-time Grammy Winner Wynton Marsalis will perform with the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra on July 19th. The Barenaked Ladies will rock the Freeman Stage on July 23rd! Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Dave Mason will bring his Traffic Jam on July 25th, followed up by the “good vibrations” of The Beach Boys on July 27th. Classic rock will fill the air on August 8th with the legendary Firefall. On August 9th we will welcome the lead vocalist of the country super duo Sugarland, Jennifer Nettles, who is now touring solo in support of her critically acclaimed “That Girl” album. Lastly, red hot country sensation and Grammy nominee David Nail will be bringing his party to our Stage on August 13th. Tickets for all shows will go on sale to the general public at 10am on Monday, April 21st.
