After Maryland's top health official told Congress last week that the state could possibly pay back taxpayers for the ineffective health exchange website, Comptroller Peter Franchot says the state is more likely to ask for additional federal money to fix the errors.
"If anything, we're gonna be asking the federal government for more money. But, it's a huge mistake to think federal money is not taxpayer money. It is taxpayer's money," Franchot told FOX45.
Franchot and others have said the procurement process was flawed.
