A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 4 PM THIS
AFTERNOON TO 2 AM EDT WEDNESDAY.
* AREAS AFFECTED: THE LOWER MARYLAND EASTERN SHORE.
* HAZARDS: SNOW.
* ACCUMULATIONS: 2 TO 4 INCHES.
* TEMPERATURES: FALLING INTO THE LOWER 30S BY THE EVENING.
* WINDS: NORTHEAST 15 TO 25 MPH... BECOMING NORTHWEST.
* TIMING: RAIN WILL BEGIN TO MIX WITH AND CHANGE TO SNOW LATE IN
THE AFTERNOON OR EARLY IN THE EVENING. THE HEAVIEST SNOW CAN
GENERALLY BE EXPECTED BETWEEN 8 PM AND MIDNIGHT.
* IMPACTS: ROADS WILL QUICKLY BECOME SNOW COVERED AND SLIPPERY
THIS EVENING AND OVERNIGHT. GUSTY WINDS MAY ALSO LEAD TO
BLOWING SNOW AT TIMES OVERNIGHT.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY FOR SNOW MEANS THAT PERIODS OF SNOW
WILL CAUSE PRIMARILY TRAVEL DIFFICULTIES. BE PREPARED FOR SNOW
COVERED ROADS AND LIMITED VISIBILITIES...AND USE CAUTION WHILE
DRIVING.
