Resume:
Rehoboth Beach, DE- The Delaware State Police are currently investigating a robbery of a 66 year old female in the parking lot of the Giant Food store.
The incident occurred around 9:20 p.m. Tuesday evening as a 66 year old female from Lewes was walking through the parking lot of Giant, located at 19312 Lighthouse Plaza Boulevard, when an unknown subject approached from behind and pushed her to the ground. The subject removed the victim’s pursed and then fled the area on foot. State Police K9s and Aviation searched the area and were unable to locate the suspect. The victim was slightly injured in the attack and was treated and released from Beebe Medical Center. The victim was unable to provide a detailed description of the assailant.
