Hollywood action star Steven Seagal has gone gaga over Russia’s President Vladimir Putin, calling the ex-KGBer in a lengthy interview with a government-run newspaper in Bucharest simply one of the best leaders in all the wide world.
His exact words, USA Today reported, citing Rossisskaya Gazeta: Mr. Putin is “one of the greatest living world leaders.” Mr. Seagal then adds: Mr. Putin is “a friend, would like to consider him a brother.”
The two hit it off over physical exercise. Mr. Putin has in recent months pushed for the government-run schools to return to old Soviet-style physical evaluation programs for students. And Mr. Seagal, 61, has made several appearances with the Russian leader to promote a healthier and more active lifestyle for youth.

Steven has lost it. Yes Putin is a REAL leader compared to our pathetic president but he is also a ruthless Godless communist scumbag. It is a sign of the times when people admire a person like this more than the American president.
ReplyDeleteThere's a lot to be said about "old Soviet schools" in general. It was recognized that all children do not have the same potential. Concentration was placed on where a child excelled. Those who excelled in academics were off to higher education and those who didn't were offered a trade to learn. Those gifted in sports could become athletes. Those in art, artists and on and on.
ReplyDeleteThe educational standards were not lowered as to make it appear everyone was achieving.
When communism fell this was one of the reasons Russia prospered and why it continues to prosper into a country who can withstand sanctions indefinitely. They are self sufficient due to the ability of it's citizens to do everything and produce anything.
757-You obviously never went to a soviet school. Look around at how many women got degress based on spreading their legs. If you believe in their education standards, why is their standard of living so low?
ReplyDeleteWell put 7:57-No one on this side of the pond tells you how to think. You and I think alike, but the majority allows the MSM to dictate their thoughts.
ReplyDeleteThe old Russia was good, and when we go that way, everything will be fine!
ReplyDelete7:57 Your are correct. Our society wants to dumb down school so everyone looks equal. It's the everybody gets a trophy mentality!
ReplyDeleteWhy is dumb @$$ Seagal wearing 2 watches???
