Joe, I am sure you got an invite but just to remind you next Tuesday the 25th the exec. staff at PRMC will be holding a state of the union forum to advise us lemmings just how bad or good shape the hospital is in. From 2pm on. Would like to see you here to cover this story.
Will they talk about hiring and firing practices? The MRSA infection rate of surgical and medical patients? How much money was spent on paying for ratings by "national accreditation boards"?
So glad I was laid off and never have to go back to this place.
This place is so full of itself and on a downhill trajectory. If you only knew how many hundreds of thousands they blow every year on "Leadership" seminars - more than some people's annual salaries for a single session on "The Toyota Way". Just be grateful you don't know about how much money is wasted on utter nonsense in this place; it would demoralize any employee or patient. This doesn't even begin to touch on the nepotism and "favored contractors" in bidding processes.
Why do you expect Joe to attend an internal staff meeting? He's a gentleman and will only go where he is invited. Unless this is a community town-hall type meeting -- neither he nor any other outside will be admitted or welcome. Which makes sense by the way.
I was there. It was a meeting led by a leader that is trying to make a difference and involve the staff. There were no anti union speeches. It was not mandatory. In fact it was factual, and if anything laid down her expectations for us and others. I appreciate her. I appreciated the meeting.I appreciate my job. Boss Hogg is a waste of skin and oxygen. Her daughter release HIPAA-protected information on facebook, and she sends the hospital attorney in to clean the mess up... and he ends up with a 30-day rip.
You think Boss Hogg is bad? Did you hear what Sheriff Roscoe Lunsford try to pull off? That little game of outsourcing the security force came to a head with the MSP, because you can't be commissioned as "Special Police" and work for a contracted security company. They damn near faced an indictment on 15 counts... All because she needs to go an piss on everyone and anyone who ever worked for or with her nemesis.
Do you remember when Naleppa was trying to help her daughter launch her jewelry business, so she hosted a "house party" for all the director-level types ... and expected them to spend at least a hundred bucks each? She even had a credit card machine. Can you believe the gall of that woman?
