Obama: ‘I Don’t Care About the Public’s Welfare’

Preface by Washington’s Blog: We agree with most what Eric Zuesse writes. For example, we believe that Obama is serving big money interests, and not the American people.

But we also believe that the “left-versus-right” dichotomy is no longer relevant.

The two mainstream parties are virtually identical in terms of issues of war, liberty, crony capitalism, bailouts, big oil and nuclear energy, genetically modified foods, and other core issues which affect our basic health, freedom and prosperity. Indeed, we believe that – as strange as it might sound at first – true liberals are more similar to true conservatives than (1) liberals are to neoliberals like Obama or (2) conservatives are toneoconservatives.
