Levin: ‘We Are Being Devoured By The Very Government That Is Supposed To Serve Us’

(CNSNews.com) – Conservative talk radio host Mark Levin in a speech at the Tea Party Patriots 5th Anniversary meeting in Washington, D.C., on Thursday, said U.S. citizens are “being devoured by the very government that is supposed to serve us,” as he listed all of the roles the federal government has now assumed – including “health care provider.” 

“The federal government’s now the nation’s largest creditor, debtor, lender, employer, consumer, contractor, grantor, property owner, tenant, insurer, health care provider, and pension guarantor. So much for limited government! It unleashes thousands of regulations and rules every single year. Over the course of a decade, it fills nearly one million pages in the federal register,” Levin said.
