Got 69% I gotta be a lot younger than you old farts lol, just kidding. This was back in the day when they were built to last. My first car cost me $175 it was a 1956 International 2 door hardtop (pickup) was built like a tank. Few years later I got a 1950 Chevy 5 window deluxe cab, built like a tank too.
10:09 build to last? I worked for auto dealers all my life even in the 50's how may cars went over 200,000 miles without overhaul.I have a Toyota now 116,000 brother inlaw also has one 230,000 neather one burns oil and still going
11:37-True.Gaskets,hoses,belts and tires are 100% better today than in the 50's.If someone restores a vehicle today with the best available parts that vehicle will be BETTER than it was when it was brand new in the 50's.The body's on the old cars were arguably better but that's about it.
