  1. Sure makes one wonder, WHERE WAS THE POLICE CHIEF WHEN THIS PICTURE WAS TAKEN TODAY?

  2. She wasn't there because Jim didn't want the public knowing she intends to leave. All men in the picture, no women. What the blank is the fire chief doing there anyway. Is Jim going to make him the Chief of the police department too. At least out of this group Mr. Barkley is the only one there with a real degree.

  3. Congratulations Mr. Barkley on your retirement and getting the hell away from this mess of a city that Ireton wants to paint rainbows all over the place on. Glad you can get away from all of it.

  6. I see the mayor is launching a program to clean up the Wicomico River per the banner behind him! Oh that's right that was back before he was even elected that he announced it! A picture in this case really is worth a thousand words. Ireton is really a blowhard who's in love with himself!

  9. I find it deeply offensive to see Jim Ireton in the photo. He refused to advance Barkley's name for police chief when Duncan was hired and tried to hide that fact from the public. I wish Ivan Barkley a happy retirement and many years of enjoyment with his family. He is a good person, was qualified to be our chief and should have been given fair consideration. Hats off to chief Duncan for treating Barkley with the respect he deserves from the first day she was hired.

  11. She didn't treat Barkley with respect, he had no authority and was just there filling a position until he retired.

  12. 9:05 or one of the mayor's minions, did you talk to the Colonel about the transition and his satisfaction?i did and based my comment on my conversations with Colonel Barkley. He is an honorable man and I do not believe that he would mislead me.
