A Comment Worthy Of A Post

Anonymous has left a new comment on your post "If Legislators Do Nothing, They Get A Pay Raise":

For those interested, I co-sponsored bill HJ-9 with a number of other Republican Delegates. This House Joint Resolution would have rejected the proposed pay increase for members of the General Assembly. The Democrats have left it stuck in the Rules Committee so they will not have to take a vote on the bill.

    The ones that stuck it in the rules committee are the same ones that don't want to have to vote against this - or for a raise.

    Who are they?

    Of course the democrats have a clear majority in Rules and the democratic Chairman Anne Healy is the one who is holding the resolution in committee.

    We are looking at other ways to make an issue of their holding it on the floor...even just a ceremonial vote.
