We talk a lot about Godwin’s law, but sometimes we do actually see things happening that are very comparable to went on in Nazi Germany. That’s what is happening in Connecticut today.
Sounds almost tyrannical that a government would use one of their databases of citizens to track down and arrest those citizens because they aren’t in their new database of citizens. Well, that’s what might happen in CT.
As you may or may not be aware, a very large portion of firearms that are required, by law, to be registered with the state of Connecticut, were not, in fact, registered with the state of Connecticut.
Some people say it’s a massive act of civil disobedience, others say it’s ignorance of a new law and deadlines. Whatever the reason, The Hartford Courant wants all of those people punished.

This is why we call liberals kooks, let illegal immigrants roam free but jail citizens standing up for their 2nd amendment rights.
ReplyDeleteCome and get them/. How many cops vs how many armed citizens?
ReplyDeleteSorry, 12:25, that won't work. When the authorities come they will come in large groups, probably wearing SWAT gear and with a lot of backup. We ordinary citizens will be picked off one at a time. We don't stand a chance.
ReplyDeleteBut how many can one citizen take out on each raid?

That's why you take their gear after you take them out. They are scared of dogs, let alone an armed citizen.
ReplyDeleteGuess any Courant subscriber with a gun should be calling and cancelling. After that they should take their last newspaper and start calling the advertisers advising why they have cancelled. Kick them in the wallet!
I tend to agree w/you 3:29PM. After a few widows are made on these confiscation raids the real magnitude of their action would be realized.
ReplyDeleteThat's why it won't happen that way. The 'perp' simply be apprehended, from work or traffic stop or anything else they want and some pious, self serving, bought & payed for judge will sign an unconstitutional search warrant. And, the cops will still believe they aren't fostering a police state.
Those who registered will be taxed and those who didn't will be fined. Either way the state of Connecticut just generated revenue. With the swipe of a pen they dig into your pocket in the name of public safety. Not one single letter of the laws they wrote would have stopped the brutal murders in newtown . They would not have prevented the theft of legally owned guns weather they were on a list in a computer or not. Instead of attacking criminals who do not obey the laws... they went after law abiding citizens and turned them into criminals with money in the bank. Confiscation of your money is what this is really about!!
ReplyDeleteAnyone who signs a document to infringe on the second amendment no matter what the reason may be should be arrested and tried for crimes against the united states constitution. This was an act of attack from attorneys at citizens to generate revenue to a corrupt multi billion dollar business they call the justice system. They attacked your wallets not the criminals!
Those who registered will be taxed and those who didn't will be fined.
ReplyDeleteFirst they have to figure out who owns any guns that are not registered. Which I'm sure can be done but they will work for those names.
