Impressive. But since I was born in '30, I drove and remember many of the original vehicles. My preference would be "restoration" rather than "enhancement".. Just my humble opinion.
Any restoration with the best parts available today creates a vehicle that is much better than it was brand new.Seals, gaskets, tires, belts, hoses, glass, etc are all far superior than anything manufactured in say the 50's.Even the paint is vastly superior. One can argue that the vehicle bodies were better then, but that's about it.Engines are hands down more powerful now than they ever were.
7:10-My guess is that you'll never sell the truck based on what you've shared with us thus far.I certainly wouldn't once it was finished because I get attached to my projects.I'm into Fox body Mustangs but I love the older Chevy pickups.
As Fonzie would say,perfectomundo.
ReplyDeleteThats the red I was suggesting on the last post about it. Maybe even a little darker. With many, many coats of clear.

ReplyDeleteThat red would cost more than the car would ever be worth.
