In common sense language what is this supposed to say? I will stand my ground with my Constitutional rights. Is Conway trying to say that if some guy is bashing my head in with a hammer I have a right to stab him in the nuts with a pitch fork? Come on Norm, are you saying that I can protect myself, or not? And, I did not mention the word gun.

ReplyDeleteI responded to an alarm at the school where Delegate Conaway's wife taught. I was somewhat surprised to see that they were already checking the school. When I advised that I would lead the way, Delegate Conaway told me it was ok, as he was ready, since he had a concealed carry permit and was carrying a gun in his pocket. I bet he would have retreated instead of drawing his gun to stop a property crime. Yes I'm still a LEO, and I am still amazed that we keep electing all of these Hippocrates.
