Our Version Of The BURY

  1. I love it. That is great. Joe you should get those made up and give them out.

I can't believe that other blogger is now supporting Jim Ireton after bashing him about his homosexuality to try to cause him to lose. Now him and Jimbeau are buddies. Shows you where Jim Ireton's allegiance went. Fatboy is to stupid to realize that his gay buddy is just using him.

By the way Fatboy is a renter in an apartment where he receives a housing voucher and other public assistance.

  2. Don't forget the cesspool of subsidy housing projects that keep sprouting up all over the city that does nothing positive for anybody and just increases the negativeness of town.

On another note, does anybody how any clue or knowledge of what they are building next to Target? I heard a while back that Target wanted to become a Super Target, which would be awesome, but if they are building subsidy housing next to Target that would not be good in any way whatsoever. But if anyone finds out about it please pass on the word.
    Thanks

  3. I've got an idea. Where do you get the bury sticker and is it free? If it is... get one and put it on your car bumper upsidedown.

They are building apartments which will be included in the RENTAL CESSPOOL of Salisbury. Salisbury is well over 90% rentals in Salisbury. Less than 10% is actual home owner occupied.

  7. Yep 2:47 and 3:20! And then the cesspool spreads just like it has in every big city nationwide. The 'low income' move from their previous location to the new place. The old area starts to then resemble a war zone (which is worse than a cesspool-FYI) with boarded up, abandon structures, trash strewn all about.

  8. If you guys all hate Salisbury so much, why don't you leave?

Or even better, take action and do something to fix it besides whining on a blog?

At least Joe had the stones to put his money where his mouth is and run for mayor.

  9. These kinds of posts don't help the city of Salisbury. Opinions of how we can approve the status quo are certainly more than acceptable. But come on guys. This stuff doesn't help. We are stuck with this problem , but that doesn't mean we have to be stuck with the mindset.

  10. Well this is quite a negative approach. At least the city's leaders are trying something! Remember when literally nothing happened? It was worse I can tell you that.

  12. The minority of citizens in this town that knows how to make it better can't because the majority are mis-informed or dont care and continue to vote incompetent people in,thats whats wrong with Salisbury.

And then in 10 years the "new place" the low income renters moved to becomes unkempt and looking like another war zone(ie. Pemberton Manor Apartments) and then the low income move to new apartments happen again. All the while the City of Salisbury closes the gap to nearly 100% rentals and hundreds of run down abandoned buildings like Detroit. Do we see a trend here? Better wake up if you like city living. This ghetto will also affect those of us living in the County. We have to drive through the ghetto to get to our jobs, court, schools, shopping, etc. We will be dodging bullets and we will have a mayor like Shanie Shields or Mary Ashanti. Both of whom who live in rental housing.
