Hey Joe. Im curious if Wicomico County salts the roads? I see the plows but have yet to see them spread salt??? Not sure of protocol and Im curious since this county isnt cheap to live in and so many public services are rather "lacking". Thanks
I don't think I have ever seen the county use salt on the roads. Sometimes I have seen them use some sand at an intersection but never salt. Usually by now we have had at least 1 truck come down our road and plow.........nothing so far.
To plow without salting is pointless. Snow provides more traction than the melted mess leftovers that will refreeze on the surface after temps drop. That salt costs money though.
