The average for a gallon of regular in Maryland today is 15 cents a gallon higher than the current national average.
And the $3.42 cost is the highest it's been in months after hitting a 2 year low just a couple of weeks ago when it bottomed out at around $3.20, according to maryland gas prices.com.
It's up 12 cents in just one week and about the same price now as it was one year ago for the Thanksgiving holiday period when demand also peaks.
Current low price in Maryland is $3.04 at a Costco in Glen Burnie and most expensive is at $4.49 at an Exxon in Bethesda.

ReplyDeleteVote another democrat into office if you want higher taxes.
ReplyDeleteJust got back from the mid-west, and at a "blue" state, gas was 2.93/gal.
ReplyDeleteIt ain't politics, its corruption, my friends.
Of course it is, we have Martin O'Malley as our imperial ruler. Along with high gas prices we also have high taxes, regulations, licensing requirements, user fees, and so on. All meant to keep us in our place by the Democratic machine.
ReplyDeleteNo money, no power, no hope - keep voting Dem.
