I don't recall hearing about this! Nixon was not a popular president at the time, but this showing of respect demonstrated by him and many other Americans to former POW's is scintillating! What a stark contrast exists between the times of Kennedy, Nixon, Reagan and Bush II compared to Clinton and Obama.
