  1. Does the city have to jump through the same hoops as I do, when it comes to anything on my property? Hmmmm. Wonder if MDE will keep an eye on them?

  2. That's just great. Spending more money on the fire department. Let's make sure we rebuild in the Ghetto now.

  3. Now this looks like ghetto graffiti. From Jim Ireton's FB page.

If you're downtown for 3rd Friday tonight, take a walk over to the Library and look at the great work Remedy Church is doing on sprucing up the wall! Today was a perfect day to be outside painting. Thanks to Pastor Ryan Weaver and his group for helping the 'bury look great!

  4. I see that all the parking spaces are full tonight, so where are people going to park when the revitalization begins and Ireton sells off the parking spaces?

    1. Any new plan will include some parking and any difference can be made up by the abundant space available in garage.

  5. anonymous 8:02, That may sound great for the young people. Funny how you ignore the elderly and handicapped. The parking garage is not the answer, it's an excuse, it's an out. Let's remember the 500 affordable/subsidized housing units Ireton wants to build Downtown. And those people will park, where??? It's the cart before the horse. That's OK though, you liberals know what's best for all of us stupid people, right?

    1. You are right that we absolutely need any development of this area to have plenty of integrated parking. And I am w you and don't believe any project should focus on subsidized housing. I do see a mix of uses along w green slace connecting dowdown to river walk.

  6. Jim Ireton..annouced Lore Chambers for a job position even tho she was fired.."bc hes a man of his word" sounds like a slap in the face to me! Between Ireton and Politt along with the 2 councils that are in their pockets we are doomed here! I was glad to read The Daily Times stood up against Ricks letter to his staff. Im disgusted with the politics in Salisbury. They think they are untouchable. I hope you continue to call them out Joe!

  7. What good ole boy or girl is going to benefit from this firehouse deal?

Ireton is sending the council the name of the woman he fired. Why?

Questions need to be asked - and answered!

Joe why don't you do a story on this. The readers need to see this proves that Jim Ireton is nothing more than a Drama Queen. Do you need a contributor to write the story for you?
