They got the fire out before doing too much damage and before the Fire Dept got there.
UPDATE: Typical Salisbury waste of money. There was smoke when starting up the pizza oven. Someone walking by on street called the fire department or 911. Out of that
they blocked the street, 5 fire trucks, 3 emt trucks, 3 police cars, health
department, and fire marshall. Fire Departments ripped apart the duct work and
left. All for smoke because they, (MoJo's) started the oven. Government is just so far out of
control. Small business is never going to make it in this country.
If a citizen call 911 and reports that there is smoke coming from a building the 911 call center should start a box alarm. Which where I volunteer is 4 fire engines, 2 ladder trucks and a rescue squad. It is an everyday occurrence. Its all in protocols somewhere I am sure.
ReplyDeleteNext thing you know they only send one fire engine to a smoke coming from a building call and you have an actual fire with people trapped and people are not prepared and then someone is suing. Come on people...
Wi middle is on fire right now, something electrical.
ReplyDeleteWi middle fire similar in size - contained to an electrical room. County BOE discussing what led to this. Salisbury FD and PD on scene and in control.
ReplyDeleteActually, inside that duct work was the hidden camera and tape recorder that held the evidence of the "Bathroom Conflagration", and with Jimbo's upcoming plan for higher office... ALL EVIDENCE MUST BE DESTROYED.
ReplyDeleteFIRE DOESN'T MELT VIDEOTAPE ON ITS OWN, YOU KNOW!
Fire folks who write these comment to defend you actions, your perception is good servants to the public is shot. Charging the folks for calls when the tax paying are paying for something, spending time at food joints everyday, and living on wages that far exceed the local resident, and the list could go on and on. Want hugs and kisses, call gary, rich, jim, and the other political royalty.
ReplyDeleteSalisbury's Fire Department Motto?
ReplyDeleteNever Lost a Basement!
I completely disagree- I was downtown this AM & their was a strong smell of smoke in the air. Even my 3 year old commented, what's that smell. No way that this was just the pizza oven being turned on.
ReplyDeleteanonymous 3:50, it WAS just the pizza oven getting started. Keep in mind that this is a wood oven, not gas. There's also some strong winds today making it difficult for it to exhaust when you start it. The SFD caused a LOT of damage there today, up to $10,000.00 worth of damage for no reason.
ReplyDeleteThey must have forgotten to call in to "Central" for a fire to be started!
ReplyDeleteFreaking dorks need to reimburse Mojo's for the day's lost business as well...
