Sen. Ted Cruz hopes to see congressional Republicans tie raising the debt ceiling to demands over President Barack Obama's health care law.
"We should look for ways to mitigate the harms from Obamacare," the Texas Republican said Sunday on CNN's "State of the Union."
"The debt ceiling historically has been among the best leverage that Congress has to rein in the executive," he added, and it should be used that way on the president's health care law.

GOOD! That may be the only way to begin repair.
ReplyDeleteAcceptance in any form of Obamacare is dead wrong. Why do you think states are working their hardest to outlaw this criminally forced down their throat enterprise. And what kind of egomaniac puts his worthless "if I had a son" marxist liars name on anything? answer..a self centered egotist, hell bent on ruining the last few businesses left in this country all because his grandiose leftist ideologies will stand with his muslim name. Defeat it or go down in flames, is the only correct answer. No one will be able to afford it either way.
DeleteEveryone should listen to Senator Cruz. He's brilliant. After all, when a devout liberal like Harvard Law Professor Alan Dershorwitz had this to say "Cruz was off-the-charts brilliant" it must be true.
ReplyDeleteEven Harry Reid said the law was "A Train Wreak", and then managed to get his state of Nevada exempt from much of the law. Now how is that transparent Mr. Obama. I would ask our representatives in Maryland to vote to exempt us from the law, but would be a waste of time because they don't listen to us anyway.
ReplyDeleteI love President TED CRUZ in 2016: hang in there you all...we are winning.
ReplyDelete1225 I guess you forgot that it was the law's conservative opponents that created the "obamacare" moniker. Sheesh if this is the extent of you guy's grasp of the facts its np wonder you couldn't convince enough people to vote out the politicians that created the law. Nothing was forced on you. It was enacted following a majority vote.
ReplyDelete5:39 But we can vote them out now. It will be difficult though being there were many precincts that Obama carried that had 150% voter turnout above the number of registered voters.
ReplyDeleteSouth Carolina made enforcing Obama care on its citizens a criminal offense. Obama care in SC is null and void. We know all about the Supremacy Clause, but that is a Union thing and we are currently having our Confederate grey uniforms cleaned
ReplyDeleteit's all crooked
ReplyDelete"The debt ceiling historically has been among the best leverage that Congress has to rein in the executive,"
ReplyDeleteBet he won't agree with that if he is President.
4:51 and you will get your hat handed to you again.
