Resume: Smyrna, DE- The Delaware State Police have arrested a Dover man after he broke into a female's domicile and raped her.
Detectives from the Troop 3 Criminal Investigations Unit were called out yesterday morning to investigate an apparent rape north of Leipsic. The investigation revealed that a 44 year old female was asleep in her room, located on a worker camp for the Wicks Farm, when a male subject forced his way into her room armed with a knife. The suspect, who was later identified as Felix M. Sanchez, then held the blade of the knife to the victim's neck and demanded sex. The victim was forced to comply and after the sexual assault, the suspect fled the room in an unknown direction.
Armed with a description of the suspect, troopers made contact with Sanchez, who resided in a room adjacent to the victim, and took him into custody without incident. He was transported back to Troop 3 where he was arrested for the above listed charges and arraigned at JP7 before being committed to JTVCC on $117,250.00 cash bail.
The victim was transported to a local hospital where she was treated for small lacerations to her neck and released.
Sanchez-I wonder how legal he is. If he is not, this woman should have the right to sue the government for not protecting her civil right to not be raped.
ReplyDeleteShe might not be legal either or they both might be us citizens. Doesn't really make a difference when there is a knife to your throat does it?
