After 10 1/2 months serving his country in Afghanistan, Sgt. Jeff Rantz will be returning to Salisbury on Wednesday evening, September 18, 2013 at approximately 11:40p.m.
I know this time will not work for the majority of people who may have been able to come out during the day, but I did want him to have some sort of recognition; as I mentioned before, he will be returning alone and not with the rest of his unit.
where to meet at is the question.
ReplyDeleteWhat are the details so we can be there. 11:40pm is just a time and not a location.

I would guess the airport.
The location will be the Salisbury Airport. My apologies for omitting this information. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteHe will be arriving at the Salisbury Airport.
ReplyDeleteAlthough I believe it is very important to welcome home these vets I believe the follow up is much more important. What does he need? What will help him feel settled in the long run. When I see anyone in uniform, no matter where they are, I stop and offer my hand and thank them for their service to our country. I have seen others doing the same thing. Thank you for informing us as to this patriots return and although I am not up at that hour of night I can tell you that if I see him in uniform (or any other soldier) he will get a word of appreciation. These men have sacrificed enough so that we may live well. God Bless
ReplyDeleteI know Jeff from the golf course at Nutters Crossing and must say he is one hell of a guy. Not much of a golfer and his wife who rules the roost, contrary to his belief! WELCOME HOME JEFF! You are a great guy and a true Warrior!
ReplyDeleteWe Welcome you home Jeff!!!
ReplyDeleteWelcome home Jeff!!!!! Thanks so much for your countless hours and service to our country. There will never be enough thanks given to all our men and women of the military. God bless you and your family in the days to follow...
ReplyDeleteThis man is a "true" patriot. Unlike some politicians in this county. Three tours away from his family and the comforts of a safe home. God bless these men and women that serve to keep us free. Freedom has never been free. Thank these men and women who serve. Welcome home.
ReplyDeleteThree tours away from his family and the comforts of a safe home.
ReplyDelete3 tours in 10 and 1/2 months?
Why is he coming home alone?

I don't see 7 years anywhere in either paragraph.
One thing I have NOT done is come on here and blown my own horn.
What have YOU done? Without embellishing please.

I have asked a few questions. I have NOT received ANY answers.
And being you are so defensive and unwilling or unable to answer any questions, that raises more questions.
That said, I too appreciate those who are placed in harms way, even if there really is no honor in it for reasons given by our government.
They are not fighting to stop any attack on our country. They are not fighting because this country is in any imminent danger.
They are fighting to stay alive. They are fighting to keep their buddies alive. They are fighting because they are ordered to. Some are fighting because they like to.
ALL are fighting for corporation profits. Shareholder profits. Because of agendas, overt and covert.
I wonder if some of them even KNOW why they are fighting.
Keep that RAH RAH RAH USA is number one bullshit to yourself.
You are supporting the lies and are too dumb to realize it.
