Charles Jacob "CJ" Abbott, 19, of Hebron died heroically, Tuesday, September 3, 2013 at Peninsula Regional Medical Center. Born October 26, 1993 he was the son of Patrick E. Abbott and Constance Hauger Abbott.
CJ graduated from Mardela High School in 2011 where he was a member of the Honor Society and the Varsity Soccer Team. He attended the Career and Technology Center at Parkside where he majored in automotives and graduated with high honors. He was employed by Courtesy Chevrolet Cadillac, the Wicomico Youth and Civic Center, and was a Wicomico County Soccer Referee. Known as "Mr. Fix It", CJ loved tinkering on automobiles and was always willing to help anyone.

The Daily Times has NOTHING on this story while the viewing had to be at the Civic Center because of the expected turnout? There were hour long lines tonight for this heroic young man. May God bless him, and send the Daily Times to their grave.
