JESSE JACKSON JR. TO GRAB $8,700 PER MONTH IN DISABILITY, PLUS PENSION IN PRISON

Convicted Congressman Jesse Jackson Jr. (D-IL) is scheduled to receive $8,700 per month in government disability pay, as well as a partial federal pension of $45,000. That generous $8,700 in disability comes thanks to Jackson’s sudden development of a “mood disorder” as the federal government began looking to indict him. Jackson, who was sentenced to 2.5 years in prison, had no history of mental illness during his prior 17 years in Congress. Rev. Jesse Jackson has defended his son’s claims of mental illness, stating to the court, “This time a year ago I thought we may have lost him.”

  11. The people around him (his family) knew he was ill for the whole time. This disorder does not strike without someone noting it. They knew that all this was going on. There is NO WAY they could not have known he is bi-polar. If he were medicated and living well possibly none of this would have happened. It might be his excuse now that he has been caught. His doctors (if he went) would know of this. Who did he get his meds from? His father would have known this was going on. It is horrible to be the parent of an adult with these types of disorders because from age 21 on there is nothing you can do but watch it unravel or report it to authorities. What parent wants to be put in that position. BUT.. having said that. Jesse Jackson knew there was a great risk because of his sons position in office and did nothing. I don't know what I would have done but I think I would have done something to stop him.

  13. 7:50, This one can do it because he's got relatives working in the system. But I do think that the money should be cut off.

  15. He's not bipolar. He's just pulling a more sophisticated hustle then just your average brother.
What's amazing is that he was even elected. On second thought maybe not. The blacks have been electing losers for generations. Proof is in the cesspools the inner cities have become and the other social ills that follow their race. You can't fix stupid and until they themselves wise up they will have to continue to wallow in their disgusting neighborhoods.
