Delmarva Public Radio Announces New Programming

Salisbury University senior communication arts major and Delmarva Public Radio membership assistant Michele Malinger checks notes on the new programming schedule with DPR producer Chris Ranck and membership director Angela Byrd.
Chamber music from Lincoln Center; works from the “Great American Songbook” with Michael Feinstein; Broadway classics; news, information and culture (including from a Latino perspective); music from Mountain Stage and World CafĂ©; expanded local news, as well as the latest in medicine, education and technology - all these and more will be available at Delmarva Public Radio (DPR) starting Monday, Sept. 16.

DPR’s two stations - WSCL (89.5 FM) and WSDL (90.7 FM) - will expand their music and news formats while remaining true to their well-established missions, said General Manager Dana Whitehair. “We had an opportunity to take existing and new programs and create a blend that is fresh and engaging, and available nowhere else on Delmarva.”

You must really feel like you are wasting your time associating with us.

    Here's a suggestion: DON'T!

    We won't mind, really.

i love classical music as well as muckh of the programming on WSCL. i have performed in their clasical series. the problem with WSCL is not the musical portion it is the talk shows they have in the morning. it is a bunch of liberal progressive bull. just because someone may disagree with that does not make them backwards. it does not mean they are not enriching themselves, it means they do not agree with that point of view. if WSCL aired only music then it would be a different story. by the way i enjoy all forms of music, not just classical, maybe you are the one that is not enriched. think about it
