The Maryland State Police lined up on Rt. 13 yesterday pulling over an unbelievable amount of cars. Of course, yesterday was the first day back for college students. Unreal!
I thought maybe they had extra police in the area to help with traffic problems. After seeing this picture it clear that they were just there to write some tickets.
Never had a problem with the Police but state troopers are a different breed, rude, arrogant, spiteful, and 24/7 angry. I guess I would be too I were just O'Mallye's dogs.
I thought you would be pleased with this action, since you all spend nine months of the year trashing all SU students, the college, administrators and Professors
How about we save the state money by laying off 80% of the state troopers and just hire some high school drop outs at minimum wage and crappy benefits to stand on the side of the road with radar guns and write tickets. That's about all the troopers are good for these days.
Have no problem with the cops ....i do have a problem with the College since they cannot or will not control their students behavior...if the students dont like it go home and dont let the door hit you in the ass..... just go around in the camden neighborhood during the weekend.... drunken kids raising hell it must stop
What would it take for a college loan request to be denied? Obviously a whole lot, given the incoming droves of students.Something will have to change in 2016 for the graduates to have any hope of finding employment.
Joe Here is a big problem too where they were. A few years ago a high speed chase ended with the car taking out the speed limit sign at court plaza. It said 45mph. Now it is 35mph because sign is gone and SHA never replaced the sign. So the area is supposed to be 45 and is designed for it but has become a speed trap for MSP.
Maryland Tax Collectors!! They care about your safety! NOT! Money Money ! Fancy Cars, Fancy Uniforms
ReplyDeleteReally - how do you know that was the reason?

ReplyDeleteProtect and Serve? More like Tax and Collect.

It's nearing the end of the month people. Don't you know that they have to make sure they make August's quota!?

ReplyDeleteReal nice way to welcome the new students, no wonder they move away after they graduate!
ReplyDeleteO'Malley has them out gathering funds so he can give it to the illegals in Maryland...They have to abide by the rules 0'gay 0'Malley says...
ReplyDeleteThere's no quota, they can write you as many tickets as they want. Pay attention to the speed limit and stop bitching
