Tennessee Newspaper Opinion Editor Says He’s Been Fired For Writing Editorial Ripping Obama’
The opinion page editor at the Chattanooga Times Free Press has been fired over a headline of an editorial that was highly critical of President Barack Obama’s new “jobs plan.”
“Take your jobs plan and shove it, Mr. President: Your policies have harmed Chattanooga enough,” the headline reads.
Perhaps The Free Press is not a good name for this newspaper. Look, people are sick ant tired of Obama controlling the MSM. If I had a subscription to that paper I would cancel. The sad thing is the Daily Times isn't much better.
He changed the headline in defiance of his bosses and in contrast to the policies of the newspaper concerning editorial changes. Basically, he didn't listen to what his bosses told him and he was fired. Figured conservatives wouldn't have a problem with a private employer firing an employee who didn't do what he was told.
Except that he says the policy was not put in place until after the piece was published. Figuring liberals would have a problem with someone changing the rules because they didn't like the outcome..oh wait.

ReplyDeletePolice state by definition is one where information is controlled by a centralized power. Can you say Nobama?
