ROOKIE COP FATALLY SHOOTS GUN-WIELDING 14-YEAR-OLD — PREVIOUSLY CHARGED WITH ATTEMPTED MURDER — DURING POSSIBLE GANG BATTLE

Rookie New York City police shot and killed an armed teen in the South Bronx early Sunday after the suspect was seen chasing and shooting at another male and refused to drop his weapon, the New York Post reports.

The suspect, 14-year-old Shaaliver Douse, had already been charged with attempted murder in a different incident, but that charge was dropped in May.

A pair of rookie cops—26 and 27 years of age—heard shots around 3 a.m. and ran to investigate, police said. They observed Douse, of the South Bronx, chasing and firing at another person.

  2. It's a shame that he will not be able to experience a full life, however his death will certainly save lives and tax payers dollars, bases mearly on the fact that he had already been charged with such violent crimes.

  3. Where is his "hoodie"? And where are Al "I never passed a Denny's"
Sharpton and Jessie "my son is not a crook" Jackson? I guess the next move is that the dead gangster's family will be filing a wrongful death/ civil rights lawsuit

  4. Who can feel sorry for the kid? When you live a high risk lifestyle death is at your heels at all times.
Black people ought to be ashamed of themselves the way blacks are killing each other. But they aren't because a life is only of value to them when they can attach an agenda like blaming it on whites. If they don't value other black lives then no one should and just let the chips fall where they may.

  5. Black on black crime. Where is all the outrage. There will be none from race biters namely Obama, Jackson, or Sharpton.

  6. And this is important why? No court, or wasted time. Clean shoot, saves money.

  7. I feel sorry for the two rookie NYPD Officers. Having to shoot another human being is never easy. If these young Officers continue to work in the South Bronx I am afraid it will not be the last time they are involved in a Police Shooting, what a way to make a living!

  8. Job well done. Just tose his body into the Hudson and let the carp eat him. Just another bottom feeder.

  9. 8:07 You are correct. Shooting another human being is not easy. I have had to do it and live with it. I still have nightmares even though I didn't kill him. When in the military you do what you must to save your life and that of your comrades. So if war is on the streets the police must do what they can to protect bystanders.
