Yesterday I was leaving Sam's Club and thought, hey, these gas prices aren't so bad. I decided to fill up my tank and then I noticed, wait a minute, that's not $3.40 a gallon!
It certainly is $3.40 a gallon. If you multiple 7.048 x 3.409 it equals 24.026632. Round the six in the thousands column to make the 2 a 3 in the hundreds column, $24.03.
You can see that the display panel tried to show a 0, but two segments were not displaying. That's why there is an "extra" piece to go along with the 7.
