DATE & TIME: August 19, 2013 @ 1905 hours
INCIDENT: Bomb Threat
LOCATION: Walmart / McDonalds
SUSPECT: Investigation continuing
SYNOPSIS: On August 19, 2013 at approximately 1905 hours, the Fruitland Police were contacted regarding bomb threats made over the phone at McDonalds and Walmart. Officers evacuated the area and maintained a perimeter while explosives detection K-9s from the Dorchester County Sheriff’s Office, Worcester County Sheriff’s Office and the Dover Air Force Base conducted sweeps of the businesses and surrounding area. The area was re opened at approximately 2150 hours and no explosive devices were located. Anyone having information related to these investigations are asked to contact Detective Beaver at the Fruitland Police Department (410) 548-2803.

IF there was a real bomb, there would NOT be any phone call beforehand ... (remember the Boston bombs) ...

Their all going to the same restaurant for dinner in Salisbury.
