About 4 percent of adults have attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), and many others have never been diagnosed. (About half of kids with ADHD still have it in adulthood.)

  1. This is nothing more than an excuse for bad and irresponsible behavior. Everyone has 'ADHD' and it's a matter of priorities. A child who supposedly has 'ADHD' needs strong parents who are consistent and who also realize children can not be expected to sit in front of a TV for hours on end. They need outdoor time to run around and expel energy.
As far as an adult with 'ADHD' it's a matter of maturity and not always doing what you want to do but what needs to be done to make yourself a good self sufficient productive citizen.
ADD and ADHD are nothing more than a way to sell drugs and a way to label a child so to modify test scores. Don't buy into it's existence, parents.
