Twitter: Gavin Stephens Asks People Not To Believe The Media

Can't tell anyone anything I just ask to not believe anything the media has written or said I wish I could defend myself

  1. ok, you were not at the house where your brother held people at gunpoint and you tied them up... you did not leave your house that night around 3 am, you did not have problems with the boy scouts, you did not abuse players on the wrestling team and get kicked off, you did not get arrested by Wicomico County police,

you are an angel that has never had
    any of these issues...???

  2. It appears this was written over two months ago; has nothing to do w/ his current case.

Guess he is referring to the armed robbery case here.

  3. Over 12,000 tweets? Where does this dude find time to build playgrounds, attend school, and rob drug dealers at gunpoint?

  4. For once, why don't you let him be tried in a courtroom and not on this blog!

  5. The kid is delusional and so are his parents. It doesn't appear they have missed a beat socially nor has he.

  6. That tweet was written May 21 so has nothing to do with his latest problems. It is just wrong for press and blogs to find a person guilty before their day in court.

  7. i always thought that it must be nice to be a sociopath and never feel any guilt.

  8. 4:33 America did it to Zimmerman, why not this kid? Aaron Hernandez is already on death row, in most peoples eyes. Hypocrisy.

  9. 3:10-We tried that with the politically correct BS and the country has gotten progressively worse. It's now time to go back to the good old time public humiliation and ridicule.

  10. Arrogance is one word that comes to mind. Someone needs to get to this kid and tell him to cool it. It may be just too late though.

  11. 5:39 While I agree things have gotten significantly worse, you may not have all the information to convict him on this blog! Don't you think all the information should be shared before you judge?

  12. sounds like city council president's resume.

  13. Not to excuse what he has done because he surely screwed up and just threw it all away like it was nothing and he will now learn the hard way. Maybe it's the only way for him, time will tell.

But instead of gossiping and getting all of our feathers in a bunch over this boy, I suggest we step back and regroup because don't you think for one second that Gavin is the only upper class well-to-do kids in our community to be acting this way and doing this crap. All our kids this age are painting a real pretty picture for the parents. In reality the "Salisbury" kids are a wreck. The drug use and crime they are engaging in would drop you to the floor. It is not just the 'inner-city" kids. Its your Pemberton Drive well to do kids, its the East side of Salisbury kids. It's your perfect baby. Lying to your face everyday. Go digging, you will find out. And it's gonna break you heart.

  14. 8:33 This may be very true but if the parents are really engaged in parenting as they should be, they would not be taking everything at face value. There are always signs that should raise a red flag such as getting kicked off a high school wrestling team or having to change Boy Scout troops. The behavior of this kid hasn't gone unnoticed by the school system but it has been defended by his parents. His peers have very negative comments about his behavior and there doesn't seem to be much sympathy for him. He has been out of control for a long time and his parents have condoned it.

  15. Why when you have an 18 year old son out on bond from serious charges such as armed robbery would the parents allow him to continue on in life like nothing has happened? Does he bully them too?

  16. Yup, all that is true. So let's move on from Gavin, a kid who unless you are closely involved with him or his family has no bearing on your daily life, and get a hold on what ever it is driving these kids to keep messing up. He's not the only one. Just one that got caught.

  17. 9:29 just maybe i have been on the receiving end of his behavior.

    ReplyDelete
  18. Well that's unfortunate. So this is your outlet to move on? Did his behavior affect you so much that you just can't go on?

  19. I think the problem with this kid and those commenting is frankly he has been held up as a poster boy by he family, the county and even the state by the awards he recently received. It's an embarrassment to our community. I agree, let the courts decide what will happen to him but still I have empathy for those who have felt the need to relieve their frustrations on this blog.

  20. I really hope golden boy, gets some time for what he did in fruitland...He and his brother have been getting away with criminal activity way tooo long..Their parents would see to that by paying off anyone that they thought would press charges..Just because they are rich, they need to pay like everyone else... I guess they are willing to let the oldest son take the fall for eveything..Gavin was clearly involved..He tied the victims up , and this was all pre planned..smh..Their parents will be held accountable as well since they wanted his case move to juvenile court..What a joke

  21. So today I read that Gavin will serve eight years in prison and probably his Mommy and Daddy are really proud of him...NOT! Now they have to wait and see what happens to son #2 in November. Cant see him getting any less years than their Eagle Scout son.

  22. Ross is definitely going away for a very long time. He's the one who allegedly organized everything and held the gun; Gavin was just the "muscle."
