After spending weeks dealing with the fallout from the IRS targeting scandal, Tea Party groups are starting to focus their energy on the immigration bill -- a development that could imperil President Obama's hopes for a speedy approval.
Before adjourning for the Fourth of July holiday break, the Senate easily approved its version of the legislation. The bill now rests with the House, where Republicans say they will take up their own version.
Obama, during his Africa trip, called on the House to "get this done" before the August recess.

The Tea Party Groups need to sing another song. They are their own worst enemies. Wish they would all move off the Eastern Shore and stop whining. I'm sick of hearing their sad songs.
ReplyDeleteFlush that bill down the toilet. When Obama says "Speedy Approval" it means Pass the Bill Without Reading It. Just like they did with Obamacare.
ReplyDeleteTax Enough Already(TEA) party represents everyone who pays high taxes and is against more taxes. To some folks like 8:49 that idea is too "radical"or "extreme". I let them know instead of signing they should start yelling loudly because our elected officials can't hear very well.
ReplyDeletethese are really our patriots. very similar to our founding patriots. keep the heat on these pols as they are running our nation into the ground just as hard as they can.
ReplyDelete8:49, are you a foreigner, government school educated, a low or no information voter living off my tax dollars or a middle of the road rino aka road kill...?
What ever happened to the U.S. enforcing out existing immigration laws. They are not difficult to comply with, and can be used by all. All except the ones who wish to break our laws. Then those people need deportation. It's really that simple.
ReplyDeleteIf you read this new law, you will find it unreadable by anyone who has not been to an American law school, which would include all immigrants wanting to use it! Heck, a quick review of the section titles shows me it's one of the most discriminating, cherry picking, unfair documents ever written. It's just plain trash, and needs to be taken out with the rest of the trash.

Chuck Cook is that you Trolling again. Every thing you write is a sad song. If you think the Senates Immigration bill is a good thing then you are a traitor to this country.

Great response. With the exception of RINO I would say all of the above.
