Benghazi Update

Last year's deadly terror attack on the U.S. diplomatic post in Benghazi, Libya, continues to dog the Obama administration. Yesterday it was State Department executive Victoria Nuland's turn. She's the president's nominee for chief envoy to Europe. Nuland was questioned by senators for her role in shaping the now-famous talking points that followed the attack. Nuland would not blame her former boss, then Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. Nuland said her role was not to shape policy, but rather to make sure the administration's message was consistent. Senators of both parties agreed Nuland is qualified for the new job.

  2. No offense, but maybe people are just tired of hearing about it.This is the proverbial dead horse if I ever saw one. This issue won't haunt anyone at any time during future elections, because no one will own it.The only way you can sell a car without a clear title is to sell it as junk.

  3. Agree with 339, unfortunately. We all know who's guilty, and all of them have been granted the 5th, so nothing else can happen. Now it's just a discussion on who else gets the 5th, a transfer, a raise, or assignment to another covert agency. A few new appointments and everything goes back to "normal".

    Sorry
