72.5 Percent Of Households Have Air Conditioning (And Other Random Census Facts)

The U.S. Census Bureau and the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) has releases its latest findings on American households.

Known as the American Housing Survey (AHS), the analysis provides vital measures of the housing market — including information on the quality, cost and availability of homes.

The Census Bureau conducts the AHS on behalf of HUD.

National data are collected every odd-numbered year. This latest AHS is based on surveys from 2011.
