City Council member Carl Stokes is not mincing his words.
Not by a long shot.
And neither is the president of the city Fraternal Order of Police.
Stokes is blaming what he called "too many corrupt police officers" for the recent increase in shootings and murders in the city.
"Our people are afraid, " Stokes told WBAL's Dave Durian, because police are "protecting the drug runners."
FOP president Bob Cherry said he was "shocked" by the comments.
"It's not time to be pointing fingers," Cherry said, "It's time to be figuring out what we all do collectively so we don't have these kind of spikes."

Maybe it's because the city is full of degenerates and the criminal justice system is being held hostage to the race card!
ReplyDeleteHow about a community that has poor parenting and allow the drug dealers to live among them. Without cooperation from the community the police are powerless. It is more about a culture in the black community of promiscuity and laziness.
ReplyDeleteThis is why most black neighborhoods are cess pools of crime and poverty. No responsibility only excuses. It's not going to change until the black community wises up and stops electing excuse makers and apologists.
ReplyDelete"Our people" Yeah, ok. This guy is a joke.
ReplyDeleteWhich one of you goofs think the police DON'T protect drug dealers and their shipments? The best -- the VERY best -- way to ensure the shipment gets delivered is to have it in the trunk of a cop car. Sorry to wake you from your delirious slumber, but thats the cold hard facts. At one point, over 400 New York cops were involved in the sale, use, and protection of drugs and their dealers. THAT is a matter of public record and court documents. And, those are the ones they CAUGHT. Miami almost lost control of their city about 25 years ago because so many of their officers were on the take....
ReplyDeleteI don't know 8:00. I can't remember the last time I was approached by a corrupt police officer and was encouraged to sell drugs or commit acts of violence. You and the politician are either doing drugs or watching too much Hollywood!
