Louisiana State Sen. Elbert Guillory, formerly a Democrat, recently — and enthusiastically — joined the Republican party.
Weeks after announcing his bold move, Guillory has released a video explaining why he is now with the GOP. The powerful video is titled, “Why I Am a Republican.”
In the video, Guillory says it is the Republican Party that actually has the best interests of the black community in mind. He argues Democrats relentlessly push an agenda intended to exert control over blacks, not lift them out of poverty.

Booooorring. After talking about a "democratic plantation", he'll then go on to lambast Democrats for "race-based politics". Please spare us. Just like any other politician, you made a move in order to gain political clout and save your career.
ReplyDeleteSen. Elbert Guillory, My hope and prayers are that you are able to take your message and proclaim it loud and clear to the "entitlement society" of which we have become.
ReplyDelete7:39 you are boring. It takes INCREDIBLE bravery for a black man to speak up against the Democrat machine and voice his allegiance to the Republican Party.Go soak your head in a toilet.
ReplyDeleteDitto 12:07PM
ReplyDeleteThe problem with this is that its NOT seen/taught in schools or colleges.
ReplyDeleteI fact-checked everything he mentioned in history and he is correct on all counts. I applaud Mr. Elbert Guillory, black congressman from Lousiana, for standing up strong and saying it like it is. Highly reccomend to listen to his speech. Folks, FLOODGATES OF LIES HAVE BEEN PRIED OPEN AND THERE IS NO STOPPING IT. This administration already knows there is no way of hiding all of these mega scandals. So they are in the Make Any Distraction Possible Mode. Any democrat with common sense should already know this ship is sinking fast.
ReplyDeleteI posted a pithy response to one cynic on here a week ago listing the dems abysmal record since Abe freed the slaves. Thank goodnes there are those who still know the REAL history of the parties.
ReplyDeleteGod Bless you and good luck Senator Guillory.
1207, yeah, incredibly brave. Because it's not like he'll get appearances on multiple media outlets, boost his political standing, or stand a chance to make money (speeches, books, etc.).
