Sensi Shakim

There are no secrets that Maryland Eastern shore is known for the Chesapeake Bay crabs, Smith Island cake, or Ocean City boardwalk fries. When it comes to sports on the shore some might think off the Shorebirds, or ex - champ Fernando Guerrero.

When we hear a record of 108 wins 3 loses, Action Magazine Hall of Fame Inductee (2008), 4 X World Champion in 2 different weight classes, did I mention 2020 Olympic hopeful - what sport comes to mind? I hear the squeaks for the minds turning and thinking the answer to the riddle is Sports Martial Arts.

Sensi Shakim Shabazz of Shabazz Martial Art’s currently lives in Salisbury, Md. Where he trains and teaches martial arts for free in his community. I’ve been studying the arts for 15 years in 5 different fighting systems which all where combined to form Shabazz Martial Arts. Competing Internationally and Nationally for the past 6 years to present I train hard to win big, a Member of one of the nations top fighting team (Team GTS) currently training for my next upcoming title match in October 2013 I still find time to teach martial arts for Free to the youth community to give back.

The after school youth group must maintain a gpa of 2.5 or higher in school also with no disciplinary issues. Salisbury first and only youth Travis Waters 9 yrs old won his first International Title (Amerikick International)in March 2013 at Philadelphia, Pa. . I also travel around the U.S.A. giving Anti - Bully workshop helping children and adults to deal with bulling issues. Free bully workshop please contact 443-492-9522 for more info www.shabazzmartialarts.webs.com

  4. His heart is in the right place with giving back and helping the youth. And, it's FREE. I have met the gentleman, in spite of his name sake, I don't get this sense of attitude being expressed in the comments over the name. Each man will face themselves of who they really are at the end. Keep up the good work. Sensei Shakim (Quietstorm)
