O’Malley Headed to Copenhagen For Transatlantic ‘Progressive’ Conference
Gov. Martin O’Malley (D), fresh off a string of wins in the Maryland General Assembly on liberal issues, is scheduled to appear in Denmark on Friday as part of a panel at a conference on “progressive governance.”
The two-day gathering in Copenhagen is being organized by the Policy Network, a think tank based in London, and the Center for American Progress in Washington.
According to the program, O’Malley’s fellow panelists will include Stefan Lofven, leader of the Swedish Social Democratic Party; Ed Miliband, leader of the British Labor Party; Diederick Samson, leader of the Dutch Labour Party; and Helle Thorning-Schmidt, the prime minister of Denmark. More
Just more worthless Democratic spending. Progressive Government is kicking good, common sense, Americans right square in the Ass. Maryland is pretty much done. Time to relocate.
Maybe he can get some pointers on how to be more socialist than now if that's possible. While he's there he can share his new "rain tax idea" with the comrades. I would glady pay yet another tax for him TO STAY THERE. This state has definately gone off scale on the Suck Meter.
