The Worcester County Sheriff's announces that a pet friendly shelter will be opening at 9:00 tonight at Stephen Decatur Middle School. This is to accommodate those who have been displaced by this storm. The Worcester County Sheriff's Office request for residents to stay in and not be out on the roads for their safety. Worcester County is experiencing high winds causing trees to fall. Please use caution and common sense during this storm. Stay Safe. Lieutenant Edward C. Schreier
I am on the water in West Ocean City and it is a little scary. The wind is howling and the water is over the bulkhead (small waves). I do think this is the worst of it though.
5:35 - what a wasted resource. How ignorant do you sound. Apparently you have not been around in the ocean city ocean pines area when there is a storm like this. People are flooded down town ocean city and maybe they would feel safe in a shelter where they can take their animal and feel that they do not have to leave it behind.
Really, what a waste of resources.
