"The fact that we are here today to debate raising America's debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a sign that the US Government cannot pay its own bills. It is a sign that we now depend on ongoing financial assistance from foreign countries to finance our Government's reckless fiscal policies. Increasing America's debt weakens us domestically and internationally. Leadership means that, 'the buck stops here.' Instead, Washington is shifting the burden of bad choices today onto the backs of our children and grandchildren. America has a debt problem and a failure of leadership. Americans deserve better."
Senator Barack H. Obama, March 2006
He said it, we didn't!
ReplyDeleteHe said it all in the first sentence.
ReplyDeleteHe should be made to read and eat those words for the rest of his life.
ReplyDeleteHe's a snake with a forked tongue,
ReplyDeletethe standard bearer for the Progressive (Communist) party.
Like most of his campaign speeches, he wishes he didn't say most of it. A community organizer, who always thought the government's money was limitless and free, is now finding out just how stupid he really is....and just how inane his rhetoric was....too bad that 50% of America would lock their doors if obama told them the boogeyman was on the loose.
