Severna Park Graduate Killed In Marine Training Mishap

A graduate of Severna Park High School was among seven Marines killed in an explosion during a training exercise in Nevada on Monday.

Lance Cpl. William “Taylor” Wild IV, 21, was killed, according to multiple sources. The Marine Corps was expected to release a list of casualties late on Wednesday night.

Wild was a 2010 graduate of Severna Park High School, said Bob Mosier, a spokesman for the county school system. He wrestled for the Falcons and played on the 2009 state championship baseball team, according to an obituary posted by Barranco & Sons Severna Park Funeral Home.
