ReplyDeleteIt's just another smoke screen. A hearing is nothing more than to tell you what we are going to do. In a Obama-O'Malley world that's what you've got. It starts in the city government, moves to the county government, to the state, then to the White House. It will and can not change because Democrats wish to be controlled and not think or provide for themselves.
ReplyDeleteUnless you show up and voice your opinion, you should just shut up complaining on a blog.
ReplyDelete11:16 am,
ReplyDeleteThis has nothing 2 do with Obama-O'Malley world. It's about what the county plans 2 do and county employees have no "say" in the matter. Do as they say. Not as they do. That's the bottom line. Mark these words.
I can stay home and know that Pollitt will raise taxes and blame it on the state and federal government. Pass-the-buck liberals.
ReplyDeletePollitt is a professional long term politician who doesn't have a clue about anything but government. He is a snake in the grass waiting to strike, and will follow his idol's Obama and O'Malley in trying to extract more money out of the taxpayer. Don't be fooled by him he is just another slick politician.
ReplyDeleteDo you realize that the county has a 26 million dollar surplus and this isn't even the rainy day fund?
ReplyDeleteWake up Wicomico...we need to take a stand! Our roads are crappy, we haven't gotten raises in a few years, the school system has the worst per pupil expenditure...and I could go on.
Screw the reserve funds...use it now instead of raising taxes. We deserve that our money is used wisely.
The only wise way to use the money is give the county employees a raise. That's it. Make up for those furlough days we had to give. Oh! Did the surplus come from the furlough days.
ReplyDeletePollitt is a total waste!!! He needs to just cut taxes and services that can't be paid for AND cut county government. If those left can't (actually won't do the job) -- hire people who would love to have a job! Pollitt has no idea how to make tough decisions. He just passes the buck to taxpayers. A TOTAL WASTE!! I've know him for decades and he's been this way, the entire time. Nice guy but NOT a good Executive. He's not even qualified to be the janitor.
