It's one thing if people actually WANT their crap in their yard. It's quite another to keep finding that ugly orange bag in my driveway, WHICH I DO NOT WANT.
They actually pay people to drive by in the middle of the night and deposit this LITTER in people's yards?
Recently I drove up behind one of those "delivery" persons and observed them tossing those orange bags near or in every driveway on my street. I called the Daily Times and, not so politely, told them to stop throwing that trash on my property. I told them I got my news from Joe Albero. I know that this will probably jinx myself, but I haven't received one for about 3-4 weeks. It may be that they just missed my yard during their random tossing, but I will enjoy it while I can. Isn't there a law against littering...especially on private property? Does anyone know how they can seriously be stopped?
Yeah i'm getting way tired of it also, if there is a for-sale sign in the front yard GET A CLUE, nobodys home. If there is five college kids living there and there is already six to nine orange and white plastic bags with papers rotting in the yard, GET A CLUE, they are as brain dead as you, stop throwing your crap in the yard. Other than that everythings cool.
Alert Alert to all color blind people - if they are Daily Times bags, as claimed, they ain't orange. The grass is green, the bricks are red, the lattice is white, even the trees and shrubs are green - ooops, when was this picture taken?
8:55- why do you assume that if there is a for sale sign on a home that nobody lives there? Some people can't move until their house is sold. Maybe YOU should get a clue.
The DT is indeed using orange bags. The good news is that they throw their junk in my driveway on Wednesday. My trash pickup is also Wednesday, so when I go to get the trash bin back up behind the house I just toss their trash right on in as I go by.

That is not the case. I get the weekly rag on Tuesday and it is always in a clear bag. It used to be red at my location, but not any longer. The bottom line is the paper is trash and I didn't not give them the right to throw their trash out a car window into my yard. If I get caught throwing trash out my car window I will be ticketed with a $1,000 fine.
2:07 I think you are on to something there. When we get a real mayor, lets suggest a littering law concerning the crap getting thrown in peoples lawns. Once the license plate is recorded and sent to the police a ticket can be mailed to the owner of the vehicle. $1000.00 should be a good deterrent.
These people delivering the Daily Times, Wico Weekly are doing there jobs so they can pay their bills. Where do you work so I can put down your job, request your place of work go out of business.....sounds to me your all a bunch of low lifes flipping burgers at McDonalds !!!! Your all a bunch of cry babies with nothing to do but bit## about somebody else. What makes you think you are better ????

ReplyDeleteI get the pink/red? colored papers in my yard. I have never looked inside to see what it is.
ReplyDeleteOne would think the advertisers wouldnt want to have their ads in papers that are thrown out as trash. It reflects badly on the advertiser.
ReplyDelete1:00 The house is two doors down on my street. Nobody lives there. ARE YOU THROWING THE CRAP?
