I was wondering if you would be able to put this little gal's picture on your blog? She was found almost a week ago in the Delmar/North Salisbury area (off Dagsboro Road). She appears to be less than a year old and very well taken care of. There has to be a family out there who is missing her. My number is 410-251-1182. Thanks very much!

I had remembered seeing this and it stood out because an orange cat that is a female is unusual.
We've heard: Maybe missing likely just another of the 30 to 50 feral cats in the woods between dagsboro rd/rum ridge/wms mill where a man feeds feral cats. Has he given them rabies vaccine? A rabid racoon was caught in that area a few years ago a resident had to get rabies shots. Without fixing them, look for 100 next year. FYI if animal control or humane society or Peta or hopefully a cat shelter are reading this. This is not fair to the other legal or wild animals in the area, I am afraid to pick up a stray.
ReplyDelete7:43-I don't fully understand your comment, but this is anything BUT a feral cat.Very obviously someones pet.Cat people can immediately tell the difference.
ReplyDelete11:56 you are absolutely correct. She is far from being a feral cat. There is a village of feral cats near my place of employment, and there is no comparison. We checked out the Craigslist ad listed above and it's not the same cat. We have already taken her to the vet to see if she is microchipped and gotten her vaccinations. So we are continuing to foster her in hopes that her family is found.
