A tractor trailer turned over on its side due to high winds on the westbound span of the Bay Bridge Wednesday afternoon. Officials closed the span to give emergency responders access.
At 2:30 p.m. radio reports said the eastbound span would be closed as well.
Emergency radio reports said the tractor trailer was on its side, leaning against the guardrail, but that none of the truck was hanging over the side.
