Taliban Attacks Not Down After All

WASHINGTON (AP) -- The American-led military coalition in Afghanistan backed off Tuesday from its claim that Taliban attacks dropped off in 2012, tacitly acknowledging a hole in its widely repeated argument that violence is easing and that the insurgency is in steep decline.

In response to Associated Press inquiries about its latest series of statistics on security in Afghanistan, the coalition command in Kabul said it had erred in reporting a 7 percent decline in attacks. In fact there was no decline at all, officials said.

Defense Secretary Leon Panetta, who is among the senior officials who had publicly repeated the assertion of an encouraging drop-off in Taliban attacks last year, was disturbed to learn of the error, said his spokesman, George Little.

Let those third world, stone-age, backasswards people go back to killing each other and growing opium. We will give the rich merchants of death (doesn't matter who dies, as long as SOMEONE does) some new targets soon...Iran, Somalia, Yemen, lots of possiblities.....somewhere on this planet, ANOTHER group of people will be found who, despite zero technological prowess, threaten our very existence and ---wait for it ---- NATIONAL SECURITY. and our precious children, too for God's sake! USA!! USA!! USA!!! Stupid sheep.....

I guess the drone program did not work out too well nor did training the troops. don't let them fool you!! a drone program in this country along with the destruction of the Second Amendment..is a foot in the door to our inevitable demise.it will eventually be turned against us.. don't think for a moment they will hesitate to load them up and take out any targets that stand out against their attempt to destroy the US Constitution its liberties and rights..the communists were right we will destroy you from within...this war has totally destroyed any sense of Liberty freedom prosperity it has done nothing but enslaved us and prepared the sheep for slaughter.we the people have the power to stop this madness
